Course Information

Carne Golf Links was established in the early 1990s — the original 18-hole course designed by the legendary Irish architect Eddie Hackett opened in 1992–1993, with the first nine holes opening in 1992 and the second nine in 1993

Set amid towering sand dunes on the Mullet Peninsula in County Mayo, Ireland. The property comprises two main components: the original 18-hole Hackett course and a further 9-hole Kilmore course, which together make up the full 27-hole complex.
For many visitors, the highlight is the Wild Atlantic Dunes composite routing — an acclaimed 18-hole layout that combines the back nine of the Hackett course with the Kilmore Nine

Nestled on the remote Mullet Peninsula in County Mayo, Ireland, Carne Golf Links sits amid one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes along the Wild Atlantic Way. Perched on unspoilt sand dunes rising up to about 150 m above sea level, the course offers sweeping views over Blacksod Bay and the wild Atlantic Ocean
