Course Information

Portmarnock Golf Club, located in County Dublin, Ireland, was established in 1894. The club officially opened on December 26, 1894, with an initial nine-hole course. This was later expanded to 18 holes in 1896 and further to 27 holes in 1971

Measuring 6,926 yards from the back tees, the par-72 layout features wide fairways, undulating greens, and traditional deep riveted bunkers strategically placed throughout the course. The natural elements play a significant role in the course's difficulty, with the wind being a constant factor due to the surrounding water on three sides. The course is known for its firm and fast playing conditions, requiring precise shot-making and strategic thinking. Notably, the 15th hole is considered the signature hole—a 190-yard par 3 with the Irish Sea

Located in Portmarnock, County Dublin, Ireland, approximately 10 miles north of Dublin City Centre and just a 15-minute drive from Dublin Airport. Nestled on a narrow peninsula bordered by the Irish Sea, the club offers panoramic views of Lambay Island and Ireland’s Eye. Conditions can change quickly, so it's advisable to prepare for varying weather by bringing appropriate gear, such as waterproof clothing and wind-resistant layers. Checking the local weather forecast before your round can help you anticipate and adapt to the day's conditions.
