Royal County Down Golf Club, situated in Newcastle, Northern Ireland, is celebrated as one of the world's premier links courses. Course Information
Established on March 23, 1889. A group of influential business and professional men from Belfast founded the club, and it has since become one of the most renowned golf courses in the world
The course typically plays around 7,200 yards with a par of 71, demanding precision and strategic play over long distances.
Signature Holes:
The 4th hole, a long par 3, is famous for its deep bunkers guarding a narrow green surrounded by dunes.
The 9th hole requires a well-placed tee shot over a valley to reach the fairway beyond.
